Three meals a day are served at tables with real linen, by servers who know how you take your coffee. Breakfast is made to order until 9:30. Lunch and dinner each offer two entrees, plus an always available menu of soups, salads, sandwiches and grilled chicken or fish.
Menus rotate every two weeks, and the kitchen handles dietary needs.
Between meals, the bistro is open for coffee, tea, pastries and a sandwich, and it is where a lot of friendships start. Families are welcome to join residents in the dining room for a small charge.
On the last Friday of every month the dining room fills up with children and grandchildren. It is the busiest, loudest night of the month, and residents look forward to it.
